It is a beautiful island. I stopped there on a Carnival cruise last year, and it was my favorite island out of the three I visited. Clear water, a lot of stores, friendly people, I'd swear they swept the streets daily too! lol. I would definitely recommend going there!

Absolutely beautiful! The beaches are crystal clear and the temperature of bath water. The people are friendly and welcoming. It is a small isalnd so its the pefect place to do nothing, at the same time they do have things to do. A must is swimming with the stingrays!!! Fabulous! This is the place to try turtle soup. Also they have a few night spot to check out. You'll find plenty of tourist at Margaritaville, with a couple of locals mixed in but most locals visit other clubs, that are safe and friendly, they tend to be a younger crowd though (20-23). I say this as a 25yr old used to more mature crowds, but the people are not rowdy, just young. You will have a great time! Oh, it is a pricey island, as it is british and the pound rules, though they accept American dollars are money is very low. So be prepared to pay quite a bit for hotels....

Grand Cayman is positively gorgeous. beaches are so pretty...some do have some coral in sand as hurricanes and storms have done some damage to beaches. Snorkeling/scuba is excellent as the island is surrounded by reefs. Very high cost of living on island so natives are not begging like other islands in carribbean. Great place to have a relaxing vacation on beach.
