I broke up with my bf a few months ago because I was feeling really unsure about marriage...We were friends before we began dating and we still have the same group of friends. Heres the problem. He's a great boyfriend, great person, and I love him. I love spending time with him and talking to him and all...Recently, we have tried dating again, and Im getting those nervous feelings I got before. As much as I love this guy, when we go out (with married friends, etc.) I never feel like the way I love him is the same way these people love each other. Yet, I hate the thought of losing him. Has anyone ever been through this? Some advice or words of encouragement or anything would be great.... This is tough

well i dated my boyfriend from college and when we broke up there were alot of similar feelings. however, i feel that in your 20's lots of things in your life are changing around you. your friends are getting married, you change friends, you adjust to real life. it's natural to want to feel secure with someone you know and love. but if you know in your gut you don't feel "that way" about him, trust in life enough to know that you're young. people will come and go out of your life but if you keep the same situation going, you may miss out on the one that's really out there for you. good luck.

You're having insecurities about the future of your relationship. You need to consider whether or not this person is the one you want to spend the rest of your life with. If he isn't, then you have to make a decision.
