I believe that the Catholic Church is the one true Church, founded by Jesus Christ. Today there are 30,000+ protestant churches all broke off from the Catholic Church over the last 1500 years or so, and every one of them thinks that THEY have "the truth". How can that be?

There is no "right" religion. Almost every single "religion" has the same theme. They are all similar. There are different religions for each of us. We follow the religion that is right for us at the time. We are all on a journey. We may or may not change religions on our journey.

The Christian religion, but you're probably more familiar with us as the Church of Christ. We are the church that Christ established when he told Peter "Upon this rock I shall build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." He of course wasnt talking about a literal rock, but rather Peter's faith. Anyway I hope that answers your question. Jesus Christ came to earth as G-d's Son. He practiced Judaism.
If G-d practiced Judaism, what do YOU think is the right religion?

None. If there was a "higher power" and humans were so lowly...then how could little humans actually think they knew what religion would be right or that ANY would be? Religious groups themselves after all are made by humans...

Sorry Yahoo! answers people but really what you guys say shouldn't affect her decision. she should decide on what religion suits her regardless of family and friends around her. but i definetly think you should read up on different religions because religions are soo fasinating!

The right religion is the religion that makes sense to you (body, mind, heart, and soul). The right religion is the religion that both fulfills you and challenges you to grow. There are different paths to God, Who, in my opinion, is much too big to fit inside any one religion.

I think and know Islam is the right religion as ALLAH chose it Himself for makind to follow and it is the only accepted religion of ALLAH.
