Your parents shouldn't be so caught up in your religious life.
If they are, however, then you need to decide how far you want to go to make them happy.

It is not a question of good enough. I was raised the same way, church every sunday, bible studies, etc. Then when I moved from home, I stopped going to church, not because I had a faith issue or something, I just stopped going. And I though well as long as I believe I am ok. But I was wrong. Yes your personal relationship with Jesus is the most important, but you also need community. When you are with a group of fellow believers, you have a support system. They help you through the rough stuff and celebrate when you do well. I know it sounds cliche, but really it is like that. I tried to work out my problems on my own, but found I needed that community help. So i think that is why your mom was crying. When you are with other Christians they can strengthen your faith. I think she doesnt want you to miss out on that.

I don't think you have to go to church in order to believe. So no, I don't think you're wrong, just differently minded and that's okay. Is there a reason you stopped going? If so, you might share it with your mom. Or, if you want to keep the peace, go to church to make your mom happy at least until you're old enough to move out on your own. You're the only one that can make that choice. I recommend talking to your mom about it and explaining why you haven't been going to church, and listen to her point of view, too. Then make a decision. Of course don't forget your own feelings when making that decision. If church makes you miserable or depressed - don't go. Just realize it won't be an easy ride. If you just don't go because it's boring and you have better things to do with your time, well, that's kinda different. You might make a concession to go once a month or something. But like I said, it's up to you.

No, you are not.
You should make a good faith effort to please your mother, and if going to church will do so, you should consider it for her sake.
But if you do not want to go to church, that's reason enough not to, and she should accept that. You did not "make" your mom cry: she cried of her own accord.
I went through something similar a couple of years ago. My mom cried when she saw a letter to the editor I'd written pointing out that professional creationist organizations are made up of professional liars. I'm angry that her church has misled her so badly that she would blame the messenger (me, in this case) rather than the perpetrator (in this case, the lying traitor Jay Sekulow). But I did make the effort to not say this again anywhere that it would get back to her and offend her. It's really not at all different from changing your language to respect the feelings of people around you.

you're not wrong, you can go to church but if it's only to keep them happy is it worth it? will they get over it? really, its their problem if they think you're evil for not going to church. I heard somewhere that the house of god is within anyway. Where i grew up most of my friends stopped going before they were 15. Basically its up to you - but best to have your parents understand why, this may not be the easiest of tasks...

Just being a "Good" person is not enough to get you to Heaven. You need to read the Bible every day and "talk the talk&walk the walk".
Church is good support to keep you on the right path. God Bless You! :)

I don't think you're wrong, your mom must be extremely sensitive. I don't believe you have to go to church to prove your faith in God and Jesus. I honestly don't see the point in going to church anyway, why the need to listen to someone preach about God? Plus, most people who go to church, through-out the week they are committing horrible acts, then go to church and consider themselves to be true.

"wrong" is a relative term when you are a minor living at home. What your parents want, your parents get - or at least it should be that way because they are responsible for you and where you go. You will just have to put up with it until you are on your own. Only then can you do as you please.

Maybe you're just on your way to understanding all religion is false.
Try reading The God Delusion, and you'll understand what makes religion work and be freed from it forever.
Being a good person is good enough.
