Yes, simple as sewing. You can try magic tricks too. These things will help your manual dexterity. I hope you like Math, and Science, especially Chemistry and biology. Hmmm, you should be about 10 now. Consider learning to fly an airplane, that will help with the math and Chemistry. Most importantly, don't ever let anyone tell you that you can't do it! Good luck!!

Scooter, you sound like you are already on the right track.
Continue to work hard, becoming a doctor will be a lot of hard work.
Take every opportunity you get to study science, biology, chemistry, physics. Take part in enrichment activities as often as you can.
Remember to take time to be a kid and spend time with your friends as well...knowing how to get a long with people will help you with your bedside manner.
Good luck, it will all be worth it in the end.

You have some high goals...stick with it. Sounds like you are already on the right path. I am a physician assistant and have a Masters in Medicine. I say....perserverance is necessary. Keep your grades up and keep your goals in mind. It's the things in life that can sidetrack you that will keep you from your goal....relationships, money, disappointments, alternate opportunities, health....any number of things. Just keep your goal in mind. As Einstein said: its perspiration more than inspiration

well get through middle school and high school first.. when you get to about 11th grade look into colleges and keep up the strait A's, you might change your mind by the next couple of years anyway. Do what you like and not get into a million things your not sure about, you dont want to look like you can't make decisions

Keep doing what you are doing and keep doing it well.
You can be a surgical nurse or a surgical tech , but a "surgical doctor" is simply a Surgeon.
reading ,writing and arithmetic = success.
Any career in the Medical field requires
Excellence in Math and Science.
Good Luck
Keep your DREAM ALIVE

Wow, you are starting really early which is def. a good thing. i'm in 10th grade, and i wanna do the same thing. my advice, take as many advanced classes as possible...it will be A TON of work, but it will pay off greatly. do as many extracuriccular activities as possible. really concentrate on your science and math classes. other than that, your at a great start, especially being so young.

grade 5, like 5th grade? just keep up what you're doing and know that you're in it for a very long haul. the key thing really is to do well in college. make good grades there, make a good score on the MCAT, while maintaing other activities and shadowing doctors. just rememeber your goal and be determined to achieve it.

Read books and study hard. When you get to high school and later college, take more science classes and talk with teachers and professors because they will tell you what to do. When you are older, you can also see if you can volunteer somewhere to learn more about the profession.
