I was not aware that Hitler was a Christian. I thought he was raised Christian then went wacko with the Aryan belief system. That is simply that Fallen Angels made earthly children who were pure German and all he needed to do was genetically engineer people back into pure Germans. This is not consistent with any Christian teachings other then The reference to Geniuses six.
But yes you may Apologize all you like. I am not offended.
Shalom

Personally, I wasn't insulted. But the contrary is so historically obvious, I suspected your were trolling. If you really weren't, then I owe you an apology.
However I suggest you take a good look at Hitler's life, carreer and words.
At a certain point in his speech making, he said the right things to try and calm down the conservatives in his country (when he needed their alliance to rule Germany effectively in the beginning), and he was smart enough to speak a language that they could relate to.
But his beliefs had nothing to do with Christianity, even if he used it in one or two of his speeches.
He was closer to the pantheon of Greek gods, and to demon worship. Personally, I believe he was demon possessed.
So, to answer your original question
"I still don't know...." In fact "I do know that he wasn't a Christian".

Mr. Dude
It's cool to see your humanity but this section of YA forces you to have thick skin. I would not let it bother you.
I imagine tons of folks don't. He wrote about and even spoke about being a Christian. However, saying you are and being one is very different. I doubt anyone would believe he was a true Christian.

Most know, but denial and twisting logic is the religious way. It's along the same lines of people claiming Albert Einstein and many of the founding fathers as Christians. Both involve taking spiritual quotes and turning them religious, when in fact both Albert and the majority of the founding fathers despised Christianity.

If one defines christians (like Hitler) by what they do rather than what they believe, why doesn't the christian god admit people into heaven on the same basis?

Apologies accepted. I don't doubt what you are saying is true. That he claimed to be a Christian. However he was not a Christian because his lifestyle was nothing like Jesus.

That is nice of you but they shouldn't be insulted by the truth. But then again most christians do deny the truth even as it slaps them in the face with reality.

Never apologize for your ignorance. It is not an honorable trait.
