I had a blue parakeet that talked and talked and whistled and strutted in front of the bathroom mirror. I named him Webster (after the dictionary) because I wanted him to talk and I thought it sounded very intelligent. He was the best parakeet ever. I gave him away 10 years ago because I was unable to care for him due to some health problems. But, I like the name Webster. That is my suggestion.

Well, i got a green one, but i didnt know if it was a male or female. So i chose a non gender specific name. I named him verde. (Which means green in spanish) If its blue, you could name him or her Azul..(which is blue in spanish) Or Azure which is a form of white with a very light blue tint. Also, all three of them are non genger specific names. So it wont matter if its a boy or a girl....However, if you want to pick, females usually have pink cears (the nostril of the bird) and boys have a light or dark blue. Its harder to tell if they are babies tho..You will know if its a baby by how many stripes they have on the top of their head. (more stripes means its younger, no stripes, or a few stripes means its older.) Hope this helps! Oh, heres a site i go to. They have lots of birds, and know by raising them for so long how to care PROPERLY for a budgie.

unknown, how the heck did your parakeet get hit by a car? and how would you know?

Anyways, I think: Sage, Flemington, Kota, or Blueberry are good name suggestions. And theyre unisex names, too.
