Today my mom decided my hair needed a trim so I let her do it but she took a great big chunk from the front of my head and has given me the ugliest fringe ever.

It goes right across my head, and is just level with my eyebrows, it's scarily thick. (Think the 60s)

I need to get rid of it.

I tried sweeping it to the side but it isn't long enough

try brushing them to the side, using hairspray or wax, for that "swoopy-bang" effect. if that doesn't work, pin them back and tease the roots a little, for some volume.

i recently bleached some of my hair, and i got some serious breakage! i ended up chopping about an inch off, especially in my bangs. so while they're growing out a bit, i have some extensions bonded in just for bangs! they look great!

another way you could make them look more intentional is to take your shears, hold them vertical under your bangs, and slowly snip upwards. but be very cautious, as you're not a trained stylist!

you could just find a cosmetology school in your area and have them fix your hair for you - haircuts tend to be super cheap that way.

hope these help a little! they'll grow out before you know it, though.

Have you considered a wig until your hair grow back. I'm a authorized dealer of the lace front wig which has an invisible hair line and gives the illusion of hair growing from the scalp. These wigs can be ordered with your choice of texture of hair. They're incredible. For more information, you may contact me at panddadams@sbcglobal.net

Wear an alice band. If the fringe sticks up a bit then just use some water or a TINY, TINY, TINY bit of gel.

try clipping it back. Go out and buy some nice clips and if anyone asks why all of a sudden your clipping your hair back just say that you're wanting a change

part it off to the side, and sweep it over, i always did my hair like that, and if not, err, just try and enjoy it, that kind of thing can be very "high fashion" looking.
