I use to work in a nursing home 5 years ago and in the last week have dreamed about 2 of the residents that were there at the time. Just kinda spokey for me.

It's very normal for care workers like yourself to dream about their patients/residents, especially after they die. You've had a sort of relationship with them -- maybe they were like friends or neighbors to you or "somebody you remember from work" even though they didn't actually work with you. They may actually remind you of other people in your life too, like a grandmother or favorite aunt.
In their final years, you probably spent more time with them than their own relatives or friends, so it is natural for you to still feel a connection with them, even after death.
I suspect care workers dream like this because they need some reassurance that the deceased person is okay.

Yes, if you actually know the person and know they are dead in your dream, then yes, they are just visiting your soul. Sometimes they will give you a message, but other times, they are just visiting you.
However, if it is some celebrity who has never met you, then it's just a bogus dream and means nothing.

It 's in dreams where the living communicate with those that have passed on. Remember in our dreams there are no boundaries, like we have during the day when we are "in our bodies". In dreams we can do anything (such as fly - we can "do the impossible") - and so it is in dreams (where there aren't limitations) where those that have passed on communicate with those of us still "here".

Somebody told me a long time ago if you dream about dead people, that it means somebody you know but not too well is going to die soon. I don't know if its always true, but its been true for me.

I didn't believe in all these stuffs until one day I dreamt my dead grandma and 2 days later my aunt died.
