I don't think i like him, yet I can't stop thinking about him...?

I'm a freshamn & he's a soph in h.s. I met him this year when I joined ski club with my soph friend. The last two trips up the mountain I sat next to him and we were laughing & making jokes the whole way. Once I purposely put my head on his shoulder while pretending to sleep & that my head "fell on his shoulder". That was when I used to like him. But a few days after that I decide I shouldn't like him because that friend I joined ski club with likes him & she's SO nice & that would be mean. But now I can't stop thinking about him! He's a TA in my english class and I sometimes see him other times. I keep thinking & thinking about him. But I don't think I like him bcause when I talk to him, I don't get this feeling that I normally get when I like guys. But I keep trying to impress him & I can't stop listening to his favorite music. I didn't go to the last ski trip and the whole day I was SO sad & my heart felt like breaking. Do I like him? What do I do? Please help!!

Girl stop! You like him, you just don't want to because you think it wrong. Here is something I learned a long time ago... Your feelings are never ever wrong because it's who you are. Now choosing to act on them may be inappropriate at certain times, but the feeling never is. So just because you like him doesn't make you wrong or a bad friend so you can like him all you want and you don't have to feel guilty about it.

You might not want to go out with them him though and act on your feelings because you don't want to hurt your friend. What I think you should do is accept how you feel, and if you really really like this boy be honest with yourself and be honest with your friend and tell her that you really like this boy. She might not care as much as you do about him or if she gets upset about it, she has every right to because her feelings are ok as well.

Either way I think at the end of the day you can be loyal to her all you want but it's really about searching your heart and being true to yourself, so if you'd like to pursue a relationship with this boy go with that, if you want to just like him from afar do that too. But be true to yourself thats the only way to live. And whatever you do don't let your friend make you feel guilty for your feelings, she's not feeling that way about hers, and remember he's not dating her so it kind of boils down to what you two want. If your friend is true she'll still love you regardless.

Well first of all it was very nice of you to try to stop liking him for that other girl. You should know though that if you liked him that much you are not just going to get over him just because you said so. I think if you like him then you can like him... you should not stop just because of someone else.

yea.. you like him.. I like this guy and i like him more than any guy i've ever liked but i don't get nervous or get a wierd feeling when i talk to him, like i used to get with other guys... Give the situation a little time and it will be more clear to you. About your friend... does she like anyone else? does she know you like him? If not kind of hint that you like him and see what she says... I say go for it...

I know just how you feel. You may not like this but you are just liking the compation. I didn't realize it untill the guy I liked duped his girl friend and suddenly i started to not like him anymore.
