Getting paid under the table?

So I have been working for this person who had some really shady business practices for a couple of months. When I started seeing illegal things I quit. I contacted the IRS about a bunch of things and also people getting paid under the table. I told my sister I did this who got really upset. She had worked for this man as well but quit before me for another job, I guess she had taken her wages under the table ugg. Now what? If she hasn't filed for this year yet if she claims those wages will she be okay?

Claiming the wages for this year would take care of this year. If she worked for him in earlier years and got paid under the table, she could still get caught on those and penalized.
