no one can tell you what your own taste if like. my strong suggestion is to try to chocolate made by hand -- find out who makes it in your own city -- if not in Victoria, b.c. Canada there is one store that has the best chocolate. try you will not regret. and they ship too.
PS. yes, dark chocolate tastes better for me.

i absolutely love white chocolate. have you tried white chocolate m&ms? they are so good! yup dark chocolate is good for you! so many researchers have found this true. infact this site... http://www.chocolate.org/health/dark-chocolate.html
says that dark chocolate may fight off heart attack. and another site said this, Chocolate -- not white chocolate or milk chocolate -- is good for you. There is no question that chocolate procures pleasure for those who eat it. - Never feel guilty again!
If you enjoy chocolate, eat a little daily - but make it the dark kind.
Eating 2 ounces (50 grams) a day of plain chocolate with a minimum content of 70% chocolate solids can be beneficial to health, providing protection against heart disease, high blood pressure, and many other health hazards as well as essential trace elements and nutrients such as iron, calcium and potassium, and vitamins A.
oh yea. ben & jerry's mint chocolate chunk is new and sooooooooooo good!

Dark chocolate is my favorite and this is why:
Dark Chocolate Lowers Blood Pressure
Dark chocolate -- not white chocolate -- lowers high blood pressure, say Dirk Taubert, MD, PhD, and colleagues at the University of Cologne, Germany. Their report appears in the Aug. 27 issue of The Journal of the American Medical Association.
But that's no license to go on a chocolate binge. Eating more dark chocolate can help lower blood pressure -- if you've reached a certain age and have mild high blood pressure, say the researchers. But you have to balance the extra calories by eating less of other things.
Antioxidants in Dark Chocolate
Dark chocolate -- but not milk chocolate or dark chocolate eaten with milk -- is a potent antioxidant, report Mauro Serafini, PhD, of Italy's National Institute for Food and NutritionNutrition Research in Rome, and colleagues. Their report appears in the Aug. 28 issue of Nature. Antioxidants gobble up free radicals, destructive molecules that are implicated in heart disease and other ailments.
"Our findings indicate that milk may interfere with the absorption of antioxidants from chocolate ... and may therefore negate the potential health benefits that can be derived from eating moderate amounts of dark chocolate."

It's true that dark chocolate is healthy for you. It has certain antioxidants. However, too much may be harmful.
My personal favorite chocolate is milk chocolate in general. Chocolate covered cherries, Reese's, Three Musketeer's, and Belgian are all wonderful.

DARK! When I was little I hated those wine chocolates, but as I grew older I started to enjoy them :)
I think it's considered healthier because of its high cocoa contents? Maybe I'm wrong on this one...

Dove Milk Chocolate...Once you have one of their little pieces, Hershey's Kisses don't even compare! Unwrap-they have little "fortunes"inside each individual wrapper-and let it melt in your mouth...never chew the Dove Milk Chocolate...Their dark chocolate is great, also.
