The reason I give I spent 20 years in it. I was a Non Com and my soldier underneath me knew me as a regulation reader so if you ask me a question and didn't already check the reg they knew where I was going to send them. My believes were I can tell you or you can tech to find the answer for yourself.
Many of these question are ask by people with no knowledge of the military so I like to pass things along.
Two: For some of the smart a-- hole out there I just like to shoot them down a few notches and let the people decide who has the right answer.
Three: I especially get upset a the jerks who disrespect Veterans and Soldiers of today. We are a special breed of people, we are the ones that have or are defending our country rights no one ask us if we agree, that's not the point. The point is we do it without a second thought because it was or is our JOBS, we swore to it and we are men and women strong enough to keep our word. and You cant say that about many. But Veterans and Soldier of all ages do. If we can help one person who really wants our help then that's a good thing. Then for the rest of them. We gave them a free country let them go elsewhere or better yet find someone else to listen to them because

Most of the answers are bubbled out from young kids or people who had never joint the arm forces but had read a lot of war magazines ,books, watched Rambo or John Wayne movies, and they can easily identify from P-38 to Mig-29 or T-34 to Abrams from the pictures. They are fascinated about war that they never experienced started from when they were kids, and is just simply an ego riser if they can answer some complex military questions to boost among their gangs.

There are more people claiming to have served in Viet-Nam today than there were living people who were actually there. When you find a phony, call them out. Ask them what the range is of a BFR. If you don't get the right answer in 10 seconds, he is BS.

Almost all the men in my family have served/are serving. In fact, my late father-in-law (Marines) was at Pearl Harbor when all hell broke out (he luckily survived that).

You might try the forums at www.military.com bc they stick more to the service people than the public at large.

Also, food for thought - this Q & A is open to people from all over the world, for & against certain topics concerning the various militaries worldwide. I guess it's reasonable to assume that someone from somewhere will always be offended somehow by something.

It doesn't take away from your having pride in your own country or service though. :) Thank you for serving!

concentration on fundamentals: operating, Push-ups, rucking, sit down-ups, extra operating, and be able to doing pull-ups. if you're turning out to be a member of the army, you want to be a able swimmer as well. i'd propose artwork out 4 days a week till you're comfortable with doing 5, and also you want to set your own each and daily objectives. you are able to seem up each and each branch's actual criteria for attempting out on-line. inspite of the actual shown actuality that each and each branch has a minimum score, I strongly propose with the flexibility to surpass the minimum score earlier signing up.

vin man most americans are stupid! let me finish ok. tell me if im wrong. they want it quick and easy and cheap.
whether it was right or wrong (my belief) to go into iraq, we are there, lets finish it. go big get it done get out. dont go in half assed and start listening to the media when it takes more time than it does in the movies.
you start listening to stupid people, who dont know what they re talking about and the mission gets blurred. we didnt go in to free these people. do they even want to be free? bush wanted to get sadam. he got him now what?
he's an idiot. do we listen to the media and get out now? or do we go big and finish? if we stop now once again we as americans prove we have no resolve if it is not quick easy and cheap!
god bless the troops and give the people in charge of them the wisdom to do the right thing. they (congress) cant get their own stuff in one sock dems and reps how do they expect to fix iraqs mess?
