I went out with my friend about a year ago, and and after we broke up we stayed friends. we exchange banter almost constantly when were around each other, and i can almost always get a laugh out of her. Lately i've been feeling this amazing connection with her, but only for very brief moments. I usually dismiss this because she has a bf(not a serious one, they've only been going out for a short time).
Basically, i just want to know how i can figure out if she actually likes me or if I'm just a guy-friend?

You screwed. You have entered the friend zone and its so damned hard to get out. If you don't ditch the girl you are looking at years of heartache.

Yes, you are doomed. Girls expect you to be a man and make a move if you are interested. Thus, you are screwed. Move on to another girl and don't fall into the same pattern. I'm not saying that you can't be friends with girls or that relationships and friendship are mutually exclusive (a great movie on this subject is "When Harry Met Sally")...but there has to be that chemistry and that chemisty must be provoked by tension. Friendship is relaxed, low pressure, and comfortable. It isn't spicy or passionate. If you find great friendship qualities in a woman, kick it up a notch next time and make a move. Then, don't just treat her "like a friend" either or that kills things like INSTANTLY. Don't be cliche either. Keep her having fun and keep her on your toes and you should be fine. ;)

Time. Don't rush things with her. If things don't work out thats where you jump in. It has happened to me many times where a close friend ends up being more. It always seems to happen that way after a break up....lol

Well i think you should wait till the two break up and confort her.
Or use the direct aproch. I never been in this situation
so im just guesseing.
Go near her talk to her and if she studers or is'nt directly facing you she might like you

Just ask her be like would du ever consider dating me agian and see what she says or if her and her bf break ^ get all over her and u will be able to tell by her reaction

Honesty is the best policy. Maybe you should talk to her and see if she has mutual feelings. Something could take off from there and you'll be thankful you did talk to her.
