Yes, they do. There's a beach on Kona called Thong Beach, and they only allow thongs by women and men.

Haven't seen too many thongs on the beaches. Have seen lots of t-shirts over bathing suits or over shorts. I suggest you go to Brazil.

umm i was at waikiki beach and haeuma bay and i didnt see anyone wearing any thong bikinis...

not really, although if you go in december to the north shore during the triple crown of surf, you will get more than your fill of eye candy.
