I burned me a cd on windows media player, but I want to erase the songs on it and burn some different ones. Can I do that? If so, tell me how?

It doesn't depend on the program, but rather the type of cd you used. If you used CD-R then it was only one time writable, meaning you cannot erase it and re-write. If the CD was CD-RW then it means it is re-writable and you can erase it and rewrite. Use a program such as Nero Burning ROM to erase the disk and then rewrite to it with windows media player just as you would a new cd.

If you've used a common CD-R disc, no, you can't remove what's on it and replace it with something else. To do a rewrite on a CD, you need a CD-RW (Re-Writable) disc.

you need a CD RW (rewritable) disc to be able to do this, and a CD drive that supports -RW discs. assuming that you have both of those things, highlight all the songs, delete them (hit delete on your keyboard), and add new ones.

you need a CD-ReWritable and a drive that supports CD Rewriting. if you dont have a compatible drive or disc it will give you an error like the disc is dirty or is not blank.
