They want to play tittle winks with us like Saddam did through 17 resolutions. No, I don't trust them. Anyone that calls for the total, and complete banishment of a country, and says the Holocaust is a hoax is evil.

Believing or not believing what Iran says is not relevant. That would be prejudicial when there are no facts. That's for the IAEA to determine if Iran is indeed following the rules or violating it. Iranian nuclear development is open to the inspection and scrutiny of the IAEA. The IAEA previously stated that they didn't find any evidence indicating that Iran intends to create nuclear weapons. But it doesn't end there. IAEA inspections are and will continue to be regularly conducted. So, the IAEA is the only entity that can really tell Iran's nuclear intentions, and nobody else.

I believe them.
However, because Israel wants to remain the only nuclear power in the middle east, the US propaganda machine will never allow to read or hear about what is really going on in the world.
The major damning aspect of the present regime is the Shiite crazies in power. That too is America's fault.
We put the Shah in power, when we deposed Mossidegh. Then, when it suited Israel, we turned on the Shah and allowed the Ayatollah to come to power.
The people of Iran are not at the basis of the hate for Iran in this country at this time, the crazies in charge are. After almost 3,000 years of continuous history of religious acceptance, Cyrus and Darius must be turning over in their graves.
In time, the dictators in Iran will go the way of the USSR. Just give them time, and don't give in to the Maasad.

The people in Iran are no different than the people anywhere else; the problem is with the Iranian leadership. They feel they have been "backed into a corner" by the threatening rhetoric of the "West".

Think about it, what would you do in their position?

If we REALLY wanted to democratize the Middle East, we would pay WalMart and Target to open stores all over their region, and subsidize the prices to match local competition...

If a soldier or Marine gets killed because of something Iran has done, they have already crossed the line. I believe it's time to take these lying bastards to task! If we are going to spend another 100 billion on this worthless war, we will not accomplish a thing if Iran is able to function.

No, of course not. If Israel possesses nuclear weapons in the regions it's hard for anyone to tell other arab countries not to obtain them. I can forsee that Israel will relenquish their nuclear capabilities with a de-nuclearized region. The same thing happened during the Cuban Missile Crisis, the US took the missiles out of Turkey (under the table/ out of public eye) and Moscow took out the Russian Missiles out of Cuba. It's the only peaceful solution to the current crisis that I can see.
