i click on the find missing plug in and it says it cant find the plug in. then I click on manually in stall and it takes me to a page with stuff to download and I don't know what to do

Please provide more information. What player are you using, what types of video's are you trying to watch. If I was to guess you are probably trying to watch a divx(avi) and you need to go to divx.com and download the new divx codec.
