MOst of the time it is because they are afraid of rejection. What if I feel like that and he does not? BUT they do not realize the man feels the same way. I think if you feel it say it no matter what sex you are!

Not always true. Sometimes, a woman says it first, expecting the man to say " I love you too. " - it depends on the situation and the status of the relationship. It's often a test when a woman says it - she wants to know where she stands in that relationship, and whether her guy is willing to commit.

Because a woman doesnt want to scare the guy away. She doesnt want the guy to think that she wants to get married and have babies right away. But it is different when a guy says it first because it makes the girl feel like she has someone special that really loves her.

Because the woman is scared that she would become heartbroken before anything happens. The men are supposed 2 be strong and they have to be able to handle the word no.

maybe cuz men are so scared of the "L" word and the women dont want to scare them off. it is a lot sweeter when the man says it first too! good luck!

well, I think this is maybe, she doesn't want to appear like a pimp to the guy , they want to keep it to see how much the man is interested ....!!! I think that's one of the reason !!
