When an eye doctor told me to get some glasses from the drug store for my daughter, and what strength, I said I thought they would be bad for your eyes? He said no, if they enable you to see better, they won't hurt you. (Her eyes had been dilated for exam, and she needed to go back to school.) So - they won't hurt your eyes, but I believe if you wear glasses to see better, maybe your eye muscles get lazy and don't function as well after awhile. When you exercise other muscles, they grow stronger.
So what makes the eye muscles get weak??? That's another question - But I think the more you can use your eyes without glasses, the vision might stay better longer..

I have the same thing, and I don't wear them all the time. I take them off for reading. The optometrist told me it won't hurt my eyes either way.

and yes I wear mine most of the time cause if I put them down
