Maybe you should ask, Why was Jesus. God wanted a way to bring His children to Him. Our sin got in the way. God came down on the earth as man. He experienced life as a man. He taught about Himself. He showed His love through many signs and the gentleness of His spirit. Then He took the punishment of our sins, bore them on a cross, and experienced death with all it's agony. Now we can go to Him with everything. There is nothing we suffer or experience that He, as a man, did not also experience. He is God. A God that cared enough to suffer life just so we could come to HIm. That is who Jesus is.

Jesus is God in the Flesh. He came so that we could become forgiven of our sins. We are all destined to hell, after inheriting the sin nature of Adam. However through Jesus Christ, and his perfect sinless life, one can take on his spirit, and become free of sin. Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love the lord your God with all your heart soul mind and strength. Jesus laid down his life for you, and that he what God deserves. For he took on the sins of humanity, and became cursed, and even God the Father would not look at him because of the sin that he had to take. He was even cast into hell, but after three days he arose again, and defeated death forever.

May the peace, blessings and mercy of God be upon you
Jesus Son of Mary was a Prophet of God, sent with a message to the Children of Israel. He was a miracle child, born to the Virgin Mary, simply by God's will.
The people have changed his teachings and now worship him instead of God, who created Jesus in the first place. These are Christians.
I am a Muslim, and we believe that Jesus Son of Mary will descend again, to show the people how astray they have gone by taking him as a god, and he will also fight the anti-christ.
If you want more information, then just message me or add me to messenger.
Peace Be With You

Gabrielle,
Beautiful name by the way.
Last night I was sitting in my chair at night. Kid in bed also husband. I just said a small prayer to Jesus telling him how much I loved him. Very short, quick.
All of a sudden I felt a rush of love overpower me. It was so intense so rich I could barely take it all in. It was too much, all at once. Then I thought about a spotless lamb. A great sacrifice. I thought of all of my ugly, putrid sins. They made me sick. I thought about how he loved me even though I was full of sin. And Jesus came to earth to die for me because of his great love. He died for your and my sins. He bore them on the cross. He died with my sins and rose again and escaped death on the third day. If you follow him your sins shall be forgiven. God cannot allow sin into heaven no matter how good you think you are. When you die you will appear white as snow, no sins. And you will live forever in heaven.
I exposed myself here. I hope you or someone can grasp the incredible experience I had last night.
God is good.
God is real and he has a son who loves us all.

Jesus is a Jew, a Rabbi, King of the Jews, and the Jewish Messiah. You can find his life documented in the four accounts in the New Testament. The accounts tells us of his life, his death, and his resurrection. God raised him from the dead to demonstrate that there is life after death. Jesus who is alive is with God in heaven. Moreover, Jesus will return at the end times.
This is who Jesus is.

He healed the lame and the blind, controlled the movement of fish, and calmed storms. Not only did Jesus heal hundreds of people from sickness and disease, but on several occasions he raised people from physical death!
Jesus was born in Bethlehem, the city of David
Augustus Caesar ordered a census in Israel. Joseph and Mary went to Bethlehem for the census. The tiny city was crowded with Jews who also came to register. So there was no room for Joseph's family at the inn.
Mary gave birth to Jesus in Bethlehem. She wrapped him in cloths, and laid him in a manger.
That night, an angel appeared to shepherds who were keeping their flock. He told them the Savior was born in Bethlehem.
The angel said they would find the Messiah in a manger. Other angels appeared, saying:
"Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth,
peace towards men."
The shepherds left immediately, and found baby Jesus in Bethlehem. They told Joseph and Mary about the angels. And that an angel said the baby is the Messiah.
When the shepherds left Bethlehem, they praised God for all they had heard and seen.
Jesus had brothers and sisters. Although his sisters are un-named, his brothers were: James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas.
Jesus was taken to Jerusalem for Passover when he was twelve. When they left Jerusalem, his parents discovered Jesus was not with the caravan.
They searched for Jesus, and found him at the temple in Jerusalem. Jesus was with the teachers, who were amazed at his understanding.
Joseph was a carpenter, and taught Jesus the trade. Scripture does not indicate what they built, but an early historian claimed they made wooden plows.
Jesus worked as a carpenter until his ministry began. He was about 30 years old at that time. Some believe Joseph died before Jesus began preaching.
