Just started antibiotics for infected wisdom tooth, am I safe?

I'm scared because I read on here that it could go septic. The question is, I just started my antibiotics, am I safe from infection going into my bloodstream? How Long does it take for the antibiotic to START WORKING??
It is verrrrrrry verrrrrrry painful.

You are probably OK. Rinse your mouth with warm salt water around the tooth and that should alleviate some of the pain and help with the healing. Also take ibruprofen to help with the pain, unless the doctor gave you some pain pills.
