I am Vietnamese and the girl of my dream is Caucasian. She is in some of my classes and I talk to her sometimes and she loves my jokes. I think i fell in love with her because she have that bliss classic beauty that every guy wants in a wife and when i say that she is not hott but she is beautiful. I know she's too good for me and only another caucasian can date her and marry her but I want to change that. She lives five houses down from me and own a beagle dog and I brought the same dog (My dog name is Oliver) just last month I purposely walked my dog by her and she bought her dog out and they began to play like boyfriend and girlfriend dog. We are both 17 years old and love our dogs. Her ex-boyfriend cheated on her because she wanted to wait til marriage to have sex and I told him to dump her and he did because he doesn't deserve her now she is vulnerable but I don't want to take advantage of that because I respect her too much. I want to be her boyfriend, what should i do?

Your such a sweetie, but take it from a girl who has a ton of guy friends, if one of my guy friends came on to me, I'd be a little wierded out. I'd give her a pink rose for v-day or just a little sign that you want to be more than friends. She'll totally freak, but not as much as if you asked her out. Seeing that she respects herself, she likes to take it slow. I believe you have a chance ;)

Forget the race differences. Valentine's Day is coming up. Buy her a card and a single red rose, then ask her out.

Best wishes and good luck to both of you.

Just be her friend bro. Let her know that you're there for her anytime. Tell her she doesn't need to be afraid to talk to you. Convince her that you are the only person she should want to talk to and eventually if you play your cards right, you'll be the boyfriend but for now, just do the right thing and be there for her. And as far as race goes...dog...it's 2007. Interracial dating perfectly acceptable in today's society.

take the time to get to know her on a deeper level. hang out with her more outside of school. get close with her, earn her trust and actually dont lose that trust. and i dont think that race matters if you really like someone. im vietnamese too and i think that if you like someone, then it should be for who they are and what their intentions are, not for the color of their skin or hair or their race or anything liek that. i suggest you start talking to her more and maybe one day tell her how u really feel. and for all you know, she might be feeling the same way.

and remember that it takes time for someone to heal from a bad relatioship. if she likes you but is scared, she'll eventually learn to trust you and depend on you and know that you wont treat her like her previous boyfriend. but it takes time. good luck.
