was wondering, I joining the air force in 2 years. My recruiter told me to wait 2 years and then apply for a scholarship program in the air force, by then i will be finishing college because the scholarship is for graduate school.

This might sound silly but, i saw really nice air force shirt, and i really wanted to buy it. But i realized i was not in it yet. So im wondering if i buy, would it be considered disrespectful to the air force?

You can wear whatever you choose but would it not be better to earn the right to wear before you do it?

Ok, first of all I want to say that your recruiter is awesome for helping you find the best way to enter, mine just threw me in open general enlisted and I hated it. But, as a former AF member, I would say just get it, it gives you something to look forward to, reminding you of what you are working towards, and no one that is actually IN the AF would say anything bad about it. The only thing you shouldn't wear before you are actually in is the uniform or any part of the uniform, especially with other clothes that are not in uniform. That includes BDU's (battle dress uniform), Blues, and PT (Exercise) gear.

consider it you ode to the air force. My family was mostly in the Navy and I have several Navy shirts. I think they need your support.

This is akin to purchasing medals on eBay and then wearing them as if you were entitled to them.
