Suicide is the last SiN that you would be able to commit. You would have NO opportunity to be restored to your state of grace afterwards and you would most likely be in HeLL for all of eternity. There are examples of Christians that have been LOST after becoming Christians contrary to what some of these people are saying. Examples are found in 1 Timothy 1:18-20; Galatains 5:4-7; 1 Tim 4:1-3; Heb 3:12; 2 Tim 4:4-10. We know that it is possible for us to sin according to Heb 10:26. We can be kept from falling according to Jude 24. Christians can be restored according to Acts 8:22 and Rev 2:5; 16; 21. There is absolutely NO reason for anyone to have an opportunity to be in heaven and take his/her own life regardless of what anyone says or does to you. I would be glad to speak with you via email if you have other questions. Just drop me a note. Have a better evening and a wonderful week!!
Eds, Christian.

There is nothing in the bible that says anything about suicides and what happens to them after death. Suicide has never been considered "okay" by the majority of people in society. I, personally, do not think that a loving and caring GOD would punish anyone for eternity just because they decided, for whatever reason, to leave this life of their own accord. since no human can know God's will, it is actually the sin of pride to think that YOU know that someone else would be thwarting God's will for that person's life if that person committed suicide. Even the Catholic church has changed its stance on suicide and now allows suicides to be buried in conscecrated ground and receive the full funeral Mass. I believe there are some cases where suicide is acceptable (such as horrible suffering from an incurable disease), but in many cases it is simply a coward's way out of a bad situation, and I think that person would have to make some sort of 'attonement' for that cowardly act.

If you are a Christian then you would know that committing suicide is the same as taking another person's life. Whether or not you have followed God your whole life, you would not make it to Heaven.

There will not be any murderers in heaven (Revelation 21:8). Why would a true christian want the murdering of him or herself as their last act here on earth. It may sound silly but taking of one's life is the same as murder. Thoughts of suicide never comes from God but from satan. God will never encourage a person to commit suicide.

No, I don't believe that you would go to heaven. Yes, you must be a Christian to go to heaven, but when you become a Christian that doesn't mean you can do whatever you want and commit sins and still go to heaven. If you kill yourself, you would have no way of repenting and asking God to forgive so no I don't think you would go to heaven.

Life here on this earth is very short and full of troubles. Whatever is bothering you today will be gone next year and a new set of struggles will come by. Pray that the Lord will give you strength to be an over comer. Suicide is never the answer. It just makes the ones that love you and that you love grieve the rest of their lives. Paul stated, Is it better to be absent from the body to be present with the Lord. His answer was no. It is better to be in the body and love the Lord. Sometimes we all struggle but tomorrow is coming.

i wont bother to explain how i know this but i can tell you from my own experiance that no you will not go to heaven if you kill yourself . i know full well life sucks for some of us. i know people come and say it will get better but for some it wont . however i can tell you killing yourself and ending up in hell is one hole lot worse then this life.
if your having a tough life think about like this . each person is put at the bottom of the same mountain . each person is given a different route to go up . they cant change the route . the goal is to see who is the best climber. some people have the tourist route up that mountain and some others who have it tough have a flat crack free rock face to somehow get up . we all are driven to get to the top . none of us knows how much time we have
when God messures all the factors of the test i think you will see a person that has a sh@t life now is really just a person who is a great climber and is now taking the advanced test. the ones with the money and trips and great family are on the tourist route now and the chances of them passing this test is not all that great and they sure wont get the top climber mark.
stick with this sh@t life and you may find at the end of this race you get one huge reward for just not giving up keep climbing and it doesnt matter if you get to the top its really more how far on what route and how often you stopped to say wow look at the view and thanks for the great mountain god . that i think is what this sh@t life is all about.
you can write me i can honestly say i know how you feel i feel that way right this second.

No, you would not and the person who said Christianity says you will is in error. I, too, have considered suicide and I am a Christian. I am still here because I still have work to do. God has a plan for all of us and I know part of that plan and I'm am waiting for Him to reveal the rest of it. I want to hear "Well done, my good and faithful servant."

Your question creates an oxymoron.
If you commit suicide, you are not a Christian.
Taking your own life means that you have given up on God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
(I really just think you need to get saved.)

If suicide were a tool to enable man to enter heaven, you would read about it in the Sermon on the Mount. We were told that the last enemy to defeat was death, so why would one choose death if they had to overcome it either here or hereafter? Suicide does not kill the image of God, and you don't overcome evil with evil.
