I'm 19, my crush is 26. We get along really well as friends, but I'm wondering how we would be as a couple. Is he too old for me?

Personally I think age is just a number, but it can throw some obstacles in there. My last boyfriend was 18 and I was 23. He was a lotta fun to be with and we really cared for each other. The only problem was I was finishing college and he was just starting it. I moved away to start my career. It wasn't the age that was the problem, we were just at different point in our lives.

Age is not much of a problem when it comes to relationships. Sure, you can go out with him if you want. Since you say you get along as friends, I don't see how it can be a problem if you were to be with him as a couple. Besides, you will never know unless you try it.

When it comes to love age is just a number. My parents are 7 years apart and they have been married for 17 years. So age is just a number.

NO!! older men are more mature. i'm 21 and there's this guy that really likes me and he's 30. he's way more mature than any guy my age. he know's how to treat a lady. Go for it!! what do you have to lose?? if you'r just friends than maybe suggest a movie or supper just to hang out. the saying goes that guys can't be "just friends" with a girl, no matter the age, there's other "feeling" involved on his part.

age shouldnt be a problem in your case, however you are both at different maturity levels in your life. the greater the age difference the higher probability of things not working out. if college is in the picture for you, you should focus on that, before getting committed.

A 26 year old is way to old for you, even as friends. If he is
interested he is emotionally immature and you will end up
finding him to be a huge bore. Otherwise, he is just a dirty old
man. (They come in all ages). Please, look elsewhere.

No hes not to old. My parents are 10 years apart in age and they love each other. i say go for it!
