ASBO's? Complete waste of time and money. They should bring back the birch. We would all know who they were then because the little bas****s would'nt be able to sit down!

Would it really be worth the effort to find out if your child's friend has been issued with an ASBO? I would guess that there there more young offenders without an ASBO than those with an ASBO, so if your child is hanging out with the wrong person then perhaps you should trust your instinct and do something now!

Nevetheless, if you do want to make an enquiry then contact your local council or police team.

I can't get this link to open but IMO asbo's are being abused by police and are dished out to kids making too much noise but causing no trouble. Kids who are really deserving of asbo's are still hanging around corners getting pissed and spraying graffiti while the police sit around eating their doughnuts. Lists are a concept of the new generation of so called journalists who pander to the whims of those who have nothing better to do than read lists...who cares who is the best or worst of whatever? Gordon Brown and all the other politicians and journalists who jumped on that story are human! Name a journalist who has never used a member of the public to enhance a story and slagged them off behind their back and I'll believe that David Cameron and Nick Clegg have agreed with everything everyone of their potential voters have ever said. It's all BS.

You should really be able to ask your child with confidence that they'll tell you the truth. If you are having communication difficulties, sort them out!

If you spend more time with your child, they'll not hang out with strangers etc. and be a YOB.

I am not aware of a list, but think it is a good idea.
