It depends on the developer. I had pictures developed at Costco and if you do it online, the size is 2x3, but if you go into the store it is 2 1/2x 3 1/2. The picture takes up the whole space, there is no extra border on the larger photos. Both in the store and online called the photo "wallet" and I had to measure it to know what the difference was. So, you may want to check with your developer first.

You need to check with the lab you intend to use to make your wallet photos!
The original size was 2R or a rectangle 2X3". That is now just a general size and may not be the true size of the production wallets. You may also need to check as to whether they are bordered or borderless.
