FS2004 does not have actual gates (jetways) that are incorporated into the scenery. where ever the purple line stops, is where the gate is meant to be, but as i said, there is no actual gate or jetway in it. FSX on the other hand, depending on the airport, does have gates.

hope this helps.

It depends on the airport you land at and/or your scenery settings, so you won't necessarily see an actual gate, wherever the purple line ends is meant to be the gate or the parking area.

If you are interested in seeing jetways at major airports, let me encourage you to buy add-on software. Yes you usually spend about $15 per software but it is well worth it. There is nothing better than landing at your favorite aiport, taxi to the gate, and have thet jetway set using your Nav and Comm. frequencies.

If you use your default FS2004 scenery, then your aircraft will park at a very dull parking spot with no jetway.

If there are no gates, your scenery settings are probably too low.
