Do women actually look for personality?

I don't think so, except for the odd girl.

I mean today I was at a coffee shop with a friend of mine and I saw this couple. It was a Caucasian Gentleman and an Asian Lady. Now this guy wasn't the most good looking BUT he had personality.

Now I don't think I'm the greatest looking guy (maybe I'm just under-confident) but this gave me hope. That finally some women care for personality, and I definitely have that. I have an award winning personality :)

I have been waiting for someone to ask a question like this for a while. Finally. Sure a woman can say that she likes a certain type of guy, who has all of these characteristics, but in all actuallity, she will end up with someone totally different. Women cannot control who they are ATTRACTED to, because it isn't a choice. It is a hardwired animalistic instinct.
The bottom line is that women aren't attracted to nice guys, just because they are sweet and kind and give them whatever they want. Guys who act like this are in fact manipulating girls in my opinion. By giving a girl whatever they want, you are in fact trying to buy their love. On the other hand, being a confident alpha male type is the way to go. Do not be arrogant, but be overly confident mixed with a little bit of cocky humor, and women will respect you way more. I could go on forever about this, so email me if you want any specifics, and I will answer whatever questions you have. I have helped many guys in the past realize that they have the completely wrong attitude when it comes to dating. So I would be glad to personally help you out.

Woody...women love personality....A guy that can make a girl laugh and feel good about herself is way better then a guy that just looks good...Now I would be lying if I said looks aren't important...but as I always say looks are in the eye of the beholder....Think of it this was...if you could have the perfect looking wife, but she was a dumb a brick and had no sense of humour or you could have the girl next door, who can laugh at herself and isn't afraid to make a wise crack every once and a while which would you prefer...Me...when I look for qualities in a man I look for the man who makes me laugh and makes me think and then I look at looks...anyway I hope that tells you something....

I would not want to date a guy shorter than me. Nor do I want to date a guy 8 years older than I am. Personality, in my opinion, is what a woman should care for most, instead of looks. I am positive that there are more women who believe that personality is very important in a guy. So don't sweat it.

Women like to think they do, and some of them do, but there is a reason why all the jackass asshole guys always have girlfriends. Becuase they have attitude and look like a preppy model type. You wont see many if any women on here who say they dont look at personality, but i promise there are many.

Then color me odd (I prefer unique) because a good personality is ABSOLUTELY part of my dating criteria...that's not to say looks don't matter at all, but w/o a good personality it doesn't matter if he's an Adonis, he won't get my attention other than for an admiring glance.
