I ask this in all seriousness. Whilst I do not worship any 'God' do You (not your God) judge me as being any less of a person. Before you answer, let me tell you a few things about myself:

i) I care for and love my friends and family and always make myself available to them if they are in need.

ii) I voluteer at The Samaritans twice a week after work (not a lot I know but I work long hours and there has to be sometime for my partner.

iii) I give what I can to charity.

iv) I firmly believe that we should treat each other as we would like to be treated.

v) I hate the fact that people go to war over their beliefs - surely we can all respect each others view.

So whilst I may not pray or believe in creation, I believe that I am a good person, but do you think less of me?

All you are short of is a Deity that demands you should live by His rules and be disdainful of other religions.

I am Pagan and I get great satisfaction from it.

You have the courage of your convictions so in MY humble estimation, you are more spiritual than most religionists.
You CARE!
You HELP!
You do these things for NO reward!

Top Dude, keep it up!

People often feel the need to "worship", and not just god/s or deities.

There is a human need to put their belief in something which they don't have "proof" is real. A higher power or creator, science, a political party, the superiority of mankind, the goodness of other people... the list goes on. And when this blind faith becomes overpowering it turns into a kind of worship.

Just think about it. A scientist comes up with a new theory about, for instance, what killed off the dinasaurs. And despite the fact you haven't seen the data or understand the science behind it, you still may believe that they are correct. And when you believe that science can solve all the problems of the world, this is the worship of science.

And when you trace the history of organised religions to their origins you often find one of their main purposes is to lay out a set of rules (or commandments) which the society need to follow to improve itself. These rules then become engrained in the consciousness, becoming taboos, influencing our thoughts and actions, defining our sense of right and wrong. Just think what society would be like if "Thou shalt not kill" was a meaningless statement. Where random killing was acceptable and murder was just a way of life.

So although you may not worship the god/s of the religions which came up with these rules, you still follow them as part of your way of life. What civilisation could ask for more?

hi! the reason Lord Krishna provides is that in this age that's not uncomplicated to discover time on my own and a sparkling headspace to do raja yoga, or concentration on the formless divinity. in this modern-day time we are staggering dealing with the middle or palms, via love or loving service, to attain Him. that is his options! that's purely a guiding idea, nonetheless. It would not propose that categorical those with a bent to that direction won't be able to win via. cutting-aspect sages have said that direction effectively, as you'll see in my factors:

Personally, no. You sound like a good person with a set of morals who tries to do right by your fellow human beings. I'm a Christian personally, but I am well aware that there are many people who claim to be followers of a religion and yet treat others with contempt and cruelty. No, actions are in my mind what count.

No
I am a Christian and I do not look down on anybody regardless of their religious affiliation or whether or not they reject God in their lives. No Christian should ever look down on anybody else regardless of their personal preferences or beliefs. Jesus Himself was friends with harlots, tax collectors and "sinners".

Keep up the good work we need more people like you around.

You are a great person, no matter who you are, or what you believe in. The real people are those that care about the person, and for what they do.

You are without a doubt a good person! Your religious beliefs have nothing to do with that.

Less of a good person: no. Less of a good soul: yes. You need to balance mind, body AND soul to earn true respect (from me at least). While you excel in the body and mind you should direct some energy to spiritual enhancement. Peace.
