Well friday we had a dance right, my friend AT EVERY DANCE(it is ALWAYS about the same things!!!) gets mad and depressed to get atteniton and like she was like "I don't think we can be friends anymore." and shez like my only friend but then I asked this guy i really like and Really want to go out with but my friend was mad at me not for that but her made up life to get attention, and well the guy I like was like YEA! But then he was like why and I expressed my feelings but then hez like well won't it ruin ur friendship with Tina, and I don't really want to be friends with Tina TELL ME WAT TO DOO!!!! O ya and Tina likes the guy that asked me out and he turned her down..... and yea i can't emphasize how much I like him!!!!! He won't let me go out with him unless Tina is OK with it!!

If your friend does not understand you need to tell her if she can't deal with you having some attention for once that she needs to try and understand that you have feelings too! I know that you are thinking that you cant talk to her like that but she needs to understand. if she said she does not want you to be her friend anymore and then you get what you want and she wants to be your friend again and she is acting all sad she is scamming you I know you do not want to believe it because she is your friend but its true. I am sooo sorry to tell you this! I have been through the same thing!

If she is any kind of friend she should be happy for you to go out with this guy. Tell Tina that you are going out with him and if she doesn't like it find some other friends as Tina is not a good friend anyway.

Tina seems to be jealous of you having any other friends. Go out with the guy you like and if Tina doesn't like it....tuff. If this guy turned Tina down then why would he want Tina's o.k for you to go out with him. (Unless I'm reading your question wrong). Go out...have a good time...and let Tina pout.

If the guy won't date you unless Tina says it's ok, then you need to find another guy. You don't need permission from anyone to date anyone else. Just move on.
Break things off with Tina. She's toxic. T-O-X-I-C. Just drop her....because she's not doing you any favours. Let her complain and whine to someone else. You have more important things to do.
Just break things off with both Tina and the guy and have fun!!

Is Tina those over dramatic drama queens who can NEVER take a serious conversation?? try to sit down with Tina and talk to her. Ask her why she's been all moody and stuff. Explain to her that you really liked him and that your sorry he doesn't like her. But if she tries to change the subject, put on a stoney face and tell her your serious.

tell that guy the truth about your friend, Tina. Tell him that you REALLY like him, and it shouldnt matter what Tina thinks, because she just wants attention. And it sounds like you really like this guy, and if your friend, tina, knows that, then she really isnt your friend. you're in a tough situation, but ask someone you trust about it, like.... a cool aunt, or a peer who wont gossip about it...... good luck girl! stay strong!

You see girls like tina ussually are fat and like to be in the middle of everything like they're really someone important. I SAY TELL HER *** TO GET LOST!. remember--that guy may be your future husband :)

well, maybe you should explain to him about the problem with Tina. Then if he likes you enough, he will go out with you. But only if he is understanding enough.
