had a relationship that lasted six months or longer with a man who walked up to you out of the blue and tried to "pick you up?" If so, what did he say and why did you buy it?

Actually I am in a relationship like that now!! I dont know why I bought it for some reason I just had a feeling about him. He came up to me and kind of butted in a conversation that he over heard me having with a friend and just started talking to me. And I know that it probably sounds like a line but he just looked at me and said you are so beautiful. I was just so taken back by his openness and the confidence that he had that I had to continue to talk with him and we talked on the phone and went out on a few dates and now we are still together!! So I think for the most part women have great instincts and if you feel like something is wrong than it probably is and if you feel something is right than go with it but dont go in blind folded!!

no. i think that guys lyk dat spend too much tym thinking about wat to say instead of just starting off wit small talk or being polite in sum way. It would be weird if sum gurl walked up 2 u nd said sumthin stupid lyk, " ur eyes are two crystal clear oceans of blue" its just scary nd makes ME feel lyk the guy is focusing on all the wrong things. U always base ur pick-up lines on some type of facial or body feature...instead of personality or something.

My sis met her hubby that way... but he didn't use a cheesy pick up line.... he just noticed what she was drinking and when her drink got low... he walked up and ordered another one for her!!!
