Did he lose his contract with GM Goodwrench? Is this his new sponser or is it just for the Daytona 500?

GM Goodwrench is no longer the primary sponsor due to the money involved sponsoring a NASCAR Nextel Cup team. They are still associate sponsors, and will be the main sponsor for a couple races. Reeses will also have some races as primary sponsor, just like last season.

As others stated Goodwrench steeped aside as primary sponsor due to money.Alot of teams are starting to switch to Co-Primary sponsors for the same reason.Goodwrench stepped down and Shell/Pennzoil and Reeses stepped up.

Goodwrench probably had their reasons for not renewing the sponsorship. They were probably thinking, "Why put out all the money for our logo on this guy's car when our logo is seen and sold all the time on Dale Sr. stuff still." It really sucks though not to see that Goodwrench car out there. Too many changes, no Benny Parsons and TOYOTA SUCKS!

I think R.C.R. is setting up for JR. to move to Childress.He'll be able to put goodwrench on the car with an Earnhardt behind the wheel.A sponsorship dream,and a money maker all around.

Goodwrench extended its contract as an associate sponsor I believe, and then Shell is his primary sponsor now.

Because that is the sponser that Richard Childress has for the car, Harvick has nothing to do with it.

GM's contract was over, and because he wanted to not be under Dale's shadow anymore, he got a new sponsor.
