What is the best way to tell if a dog is pregnant?

if you thinkk she is then take her to the vet. If she is nesting yes girls you all do it she will be preparing to have her babies bringing soft things to her bed. If she is then good luck you will become like a mother hen. I slept on the chairs next to my ***** (Female dog Yahoo that is the correct name for a female dog) when she was close and i talked to her all the way through her first litter and i helped her and when all the pups arrived they went for milk and i held her head and told her what a good girl she was. you can all take the piss as much as you want i cried my eyes out i was so happy

You can take her to the vet when you think she is about 1 month along for an ultrasound. Or 5 to 6 weeks along, the vet can take an x-ray. Otherwise, you may have to wait until she is about 7 weeks pregnant before she will show. Some are sooner. Her nipples will not go away after her heat for at least a month if she is not pregnant. Also, she will have to mate with another dog to become pregnant (obviously) and when there is a tie (bum to bum stuck) chances are very close to 100% prego!!! She may lose her appetite in the first couple of weeks, and then it will increase like never before. These are just a few signs, hope this helps!!!

get a human pregnancy test n plonk in under her butt as she pee's? might work duno...my dog attacks any male dog that so much as looks at her!!!

TAKE HER TO THE VETS .THEY WILL BE ABLE TO TELL WITH NO PROBLEMS..

Take her to a vet.
Then have her spayed. You'll never wonder again.
