Why didn'ht he make his presence known to the masses? Why did he just leave it up to a few different people to preach what he said, and leave it up to whether people believed them or not? And why just in the middle-eastern region of the world? 2000 years is a long time for christians to iron out all the wrinkles in the bible.

Good question. I hope you can accept a long answer.

The purpose of this life is a TEST to see if we can believe without seeing.

Prophets or Messengers were sent upon mankind to bring to their remembrance that only One God exists.

If He were to just appear out of nowhere, then there is absolutely no test of faith whatsoever. It would be game over.

As far as being in the Middle East... the Hebrews were the first culture to champion the belief that there is only one God, compared to the polytheistic religions on the outskirts of Africa, Europe and Asia.

And from the Middle East, the belief could spread outward in all directions to spread the word of One God (northwest to Europe, southwest to Africa, and east to Asia).

If you say you don't believe in what you can't see, then I ask if you believe in atoms, oxygen, etc.

Say you are sick or in legal trouble, you would go to a doctor or a lawyer respectively, correct?

Why? Because that kind of help and information is what they SPECIALIZE in. You wouldn't go to just anybody for help if you had cancer, or were being accused of attempted murder, would you?

So in essence, God blessed or chose certain men or women to specialize in spreading His word or commands to all of mankind.

A test, for sure, because you can choose to believe such a man/woman if he/she makes sense or not.

He made His presence known to the masses over and over again, and they refused Him. Unbelief is not an intellectual matter. It is a question of the will.
He accompanies the preaching of the Word with His Spirit.
Anyone who truly seeks God and wants to know, God will reveal himself to him.
Jesus appeared in the middle East because it was the ideal place from which the message could get out to the whole world. Israel is at the crossroads of the ocntinents. God also chose the time of the Pax Romana so the Gospel could spread quickly along the Roman roads, and in the Greek and Latin language which were common everywhere.
Christians have not needed to iron out any wrinkles in the Bible.

Well if you believe the bible then everyone originated from the same place. As far as why didn't God make his presence known. Well creation itself proves a creator. Do you remember the day your were born? Yet you still believe that you were born on the day that your parents told you. So is it necessary to see everything in order to believe it? Of course not, otherwise you would doubt everything, I mean even your senses could truly be lying to you. The truth is there is so much evidence for the existance of God, and your conscience itself giving witness. However the scripture says if you seek you shall find. So even if you doubt, God will reveal himself to you, if you search with all your heart.

God reveals several Holy Books such as the Torah, the Bible, the Quran, the Bhagavad Gita, the Vedas, the Bayan, the Iqan...through His Divine Messengers. In the past the great masses had no access to schools, so only a small number of priests can learn and pass them on. Today, most people are literate, we can easily read them on the Internet to seek for the truth by ourselves. It is really very regretful for anyone who deprives himself from the knowledge and love of the One True God.

I am no expert or a "religious" leader, but I do know from experience that God makes His presence known daily to everyone. God's word, the Bible is available to everyone and holds the answers to all our questions. If you've watched the sun rise, the clouds form, the waves in the ocean, a child being born, then you have seen God at work. He's there right beside you, talk to Him.

Maybe God just isn't a very logical type of guy... I mean after all, he apparently designed humans (according to some) and look how we turned out! A reproductive/sewage system, we only see a certain, limited part of the electromagnetic spectrum, we eat, breath, and drink from the same hole, etc etc. Logical? Hardly. So if the design from God doesn't require any commen sense, why should how he spreads his word?

God chooses to make his presence known to those who love the truth. We come to God on his terms not our own. If you are having trouble seeing God this is the reason. Here is the truth that if a man loves the truth he will seek it out and those who seek receive a gift and that gift is called faith and through faith comes revealtion and a personal relationship with a living God. Many would choose to fashion God to suit themselves others would have God prove himself to them God is who he is and it is on his terms we come to know him.
