with out the cd and i cant access my help support off of my start menu and when i go start accessories system tools system restore it just comes up blank

Your best bet is to go to
START | PROGRAMS | ACCESSORIES | SYSTEM TOOLS
Run System Restore and pick a date prior to your current difficulties.

put the disc in the cd drive and restart you computer. Usually it is not available on your startup menu. It should boot up then.

go to start> run and type msconfig a window will open and a button will say system restore.

Sound like you computer has been attacked by a virus. You might have gone to one too many "free" web sites. Take it to a computer repair shop.

Use the control panel if you can. Sounds like a lot of your OS may have been deleted!

you need OS disc to resotre,format without the windows disc your outta luck
