Yes, females "dry up" about 2 weeks after they finish weaning the puppies.

yes it will but it shouldnt just yet pups should still be suckling until they are at least 8-9 wks we all know that pups can be a pain when they start getting on the move, but they should be weaned naturally and not rushed they will make much nicer pups if they are left with mum for as long as poss. i have never "removed" pups from mum until about 12-14 wks and even then i have allowed mum to start "screaming" at them before hand and then taking up the normal routine of walkies with mum increasing the time away from pups.

You mean they are weaned at such a young age ? Its usually about 6-7 weeks. but yes it will stop so dont worry about it just make sure the pups have plenty of milk and soft food.

Yes, the milk in her system will dry up, there is no reason to worry about it, her body will take care of it. Although if the milk is in her system for to long there is a possibility she could get poisoned so just keep an eye on her but things should go fine.

She should still be letting the pups nurse while you start them on puppy feed--not a good momma if not letting nurse now and yes her milk will dry up!

Yes, her milk will dry up. See the vet and ask them if you can express it for the pups as they could do with another week or so.
Or perhaps the vet has some milk suitable for you to hand feed them.

Yes. When the pups are weened she will quit producing milk. BTW: When a cow has a calf, she will start producing milk. As long as she is milked, she will continue to produce milk. If the milking stops, the cow's milk will cease (dry up).

P.S. The proper spelling for a cow that is giving milk is "milch cow."

Yes it will dry up. But I should also mention that puppies should not be weaned until they are at least 8 weeks old. This will ensure that the puppies will get all the antibodies they need from the mother to be able to fight off most illnesses.

She will keep generating milk whilst the pups are still suckling.
