Maybe guys are afraid not of nice girls, but something else....Like "Why are these girls being nice?"

It depends. . .could mean that he's not interested and when they realize you're a nice person, they don't wanna send mixed signals and hurt you in any way so they just keep their distance.
However, I find with most guys, there is such a thing as being too nice. You almost have to have the "bi*ch" quality at times and if the time arises, you have to know how to use it, if not they tend to use you and will eventually lose interest.
How stange is that?? It seems like the worst you treat a guy, the harder the lock is you have on him.
Just remember. . .be nice, but don't let a guy walk over you either. No when to put your foot down, guys like a little "ferocity" in their women.

Because A, they don't know how nice the girl really is, or B, they think they aren't good enough for her. But it really depends on each individual circumstances- there might be an actual excuse for a guy to run away.

not ready for commitment.. because when a girl is being nice she is asking for him to be nice back and thats a commitment... you know thats one way to look at it... or maybe i dont know.. he is shy or something.. personaly i wouldnt run if a girl was nice to me.. i might be a little nurvous but i wont run

Most guys are really attracted to the girls they can't have. Make yourself scarce and aloof and you should have more success.
