I don't see why not - but I would suggest that you go to the TSA website http://www.tsa.gov/ they have the complete list of what you can and can not bring on the aircraft.

i dont believe you can. they have really cut down on things you are allowed to bring aboard the plane. check the airports website and they should have a list of things allowed aboard the plane

yes. the new thing is no liquids unless they can be contained in a 3 oz. bottle or smaller. but to be on the safe side check for a list on the wesite of your flight line (ie SouthWest and American Air)
