I'm 19 and I don't get why I don't have a boyfriend. My mom thinks its because i come out defensive but i dont think i am.guys see me as attractive, yet i still don't have a boyfriend and I'm shy when it comes to talking about relationship. Ive been talking to this guy who still talks to his ex, for 6 months now and it's going no where, everyone says he likes me but nothing happens. He won't talk about his ex even though i know about it, and when he does he calls her his "friend" and won't say her name. We say we're friends but we always flirt and hang out, and he would never see have me and his ex near eachother. He would never talk about girls infront of me either, and when we're out at a party he always is with me. He is completely honest whenever i do talk about it though. I don't have a reason to stop talking to him, he's always been nice to me so it's hard. I want a boyfriend, but i always find myself in bad situations I don't understand, i'm outgoing and fun n have guy friends

i am an attractive girl so i have been told i love to go out and party and i am smart ... i also did cheerleading but guys just see me as a friend instead of a girl friend.... and i love my best friend who is in love with his x
i dont know if you have seen the movie Just Friends [if you haven't go rent it ] but love just takes time and i know its hard to just sit there waiting for love to come ... but you seriously just need to wait for the right one to come along
...and for your guy friend who still has "feelings" for his x
once you have loved someone you will always have a little something something for them no matter what.... and like all i can say is just be his friend once in a while remind him / drop hints that you want to be more then friends...and just like show him your best qualities so he will fall in love with you ....
dont worry your prince charming is out there some where ...

You are looking at it how you think guys see you instead of how they really see you. Why not just ask your friend for some help? Tell him that you want to improve your image to guys (let's him know you want a BF). While doing that you could ask him what you would have to do to get him interested in you (that will make him think about you in a GF kind of way). You might get a new perspective on how the rest of the world sees you.

Patience my dear.......just be yourself. If you and him don't work out, I'm sure you'll find someone who'll you'll be proud to introduce as your boyfriend. I wish you the best of luck.
