Since you posted this question in religion and spirituality maybe you should consult a medium. My husband once bought a car from a friend. I didn't understand why, since when the friend owned the car, it was almost always off the road being tinkered with. We did many miles in the car without problems, and then the previous owner came to visit us and suggested we all go to his parent's house. We had done about two miles when I said, 'It's nice to see Roger again, isn't it?' The car coughed, spluttered a bit and gave up the ghost. Now that's spooky!

I'm fairly sure your car was not previously owned by Adam, as in "the first man"; or perhaps you posted this question in the wrong forum...?
