Yup, it was both spiritual and physical. It was a rough three days. I did drink fruit juice with water though. I just convinced myself that it was a normal meal and that helped mentally. I suggest avoiding TV during mealtimes as much as possible, as you may not have noticed this (until your fasting) but every other commercial then is for food. Good looking food (well when you have been fasting anyway). That's unneeded torture. Good luck.

definite. Longest became 2 weeks, no food purely water. in the different case, countless situations have fasted throughout Ramadan (no food or drink from sunup to sunset for a million month) with Muslim acquaintances. that's an exceptionally non secular experience in both case.

I have, just to try it. But I kind of cheated cuz I ate a lot the night before. I just kept myself really busy with school work, took a nap, and went to bed early.
