For crying out loud there is nothing worse then a meddling mum. I should know I have one of them for a mother in law.

Try to get him to join in some group activities or clubs. While it would be better for the group to include girls it's not essential because he will meet girls through the other guys. He has to extend hand of friendship and hopefully it will open up some more social activities for him. If he's having fun and being positive he will attract more people to him - including girls.

If he is 18 you need to let go. He's now at the age to be considered a man. Your place now is to be a best friend and mentor. Let him learn and make his own mistakes and move at his own pace or you'll hinder his growth and he may see you as meddling and feel you a threat.

I am 18 and the best advice to give you is maybe he does not want one right now or maybe you could introduce him to some new people that you might know of that is his age. Hope this helps!

if he wants a girlfried he will get one. introduce him to some people you know but dont pressure him
