It's really not fair to put so much into a single question, but I'll give it a shot.

a. Gangs instill fear mostly because a person who is not a gang member does not know their ethos, and therefore does not know when he or she might anger a gang member unintentionally. They also don't know whether the gang has any moral compunctions about harming someone who has done them no harm. We hear the term "diss" as meaning "showing disrespect," but is more realistically defined as "behaving in a way which the gang member may interpret as disrespect if he chooses."

b. The individual's identity and values are subordinated to those of the gang. This is especially true for newer members, who have not had a hand in creating those values or shaping the group identity.

c. People join gangs because they want to, or because they are forced to. If you live in the neighborhood they "control," or your siblings are members, or you date a member, or otherwise come under what they perceive to be their sphere of influence, you may be forced to join the gang or face harassment and violence from the gang for refusing to join, thus "dissing" the gang.

d. People have a great deal of difficulty leaving a gang. Often the only way is an extreme relocation, such as joining the military or moving to another country, not just another state. If another state, then without telling anyone where you are going, and without having any contact with anyone who might tell the gang where you went. This is because gangs often have affiliations in other cities.

e. The thing that identifies a member is called "colors," whatever is actually used. A certain jacket, or bandanna, or literally a certain color. That is why so many schools have rules about what color clothing students may wear; they want to avoid wearing gang colors. Problem is, the colors all get taken up, and then you also find certain plaids (especially with any Scots heritage) and other design elements being used by gangs.

f. I don't know any gang names, and I don't want to. I don't know their rivalries or their reputations, except that I know there are gangs in schools in this county.

g. How did you sneak that last one in? And what does it have to do with gangs, except that many gang members do die, for a variety of reasons.

in my view, I cost reviews that are sponsored up through some criteria. First will be data. that is what i search for when I ask questions the following on Yahoo. What are the data? OR, is it basically an opinion it is ideally placed down in writing. second, i search for reason. Is the opinion out of situation; is it out of Godly principled love? If no longer then i do no longer pay a lot interest to it. 0.33, is it logical? If it would not ring actual to me, I question its cost. Fourth, Does it bypass alongside with my Bible experienced moral experience? it is the actual cost. If it stands as a lot as those 4 factors (and that i'm particular there are more beneficial yet that is what's coming to suggestions), then it is a very valued opinion. The Zeb ;)
