Talk to her Mom......let her know whats going on....it's not ratting when it's something involving her well being....that's what a true good friend would do!!!!

Continue being a friend to her and reassuring her that she is fine and dont need it. But, in the meantime.....make her get out with u. Take her places where she can mingle with other singles and possibly meet another guy. Once she becomes interested in someone else and he in her, she will be automatically cured.
Dont let her sit at home and sulk over him. Demand she goes with u. I had to do it with a friend of mine. She was so depressed but as soon as she seen that other guys found her attractive, she turned back into the old Diane.
So, be a friend, and get her out. She will thank u for it in the longrun.
You are a good friend. Hats off to u. Good luck.

First, you will NEVER be able to control other people. So, it's up to her to change her life and thoughts. You can however, introduce her to REAL men who love her for who she is. A rebound is the best way to get over an old flame.

There are millions of guys for her to choose from. She has to LOVE herself, to show others how she wants to be loved. It's much deeper than this guy, she must accept herself for who she is and be thankful that she can still walk, see, and talk. Some people don't have those luxuries.

Call alanon they help you deal with friends with this kind of drinking problem, they can help you with that. You could also get infomation on drinking and taking pills and give it to her. You should try to build up her confidence. Also get infomation on anorexia and find out the symptoms it sounds like you should try to get your friend to go to couselling and tell her you will go with her. Tell her she is a good person and that guy was just an a***hole and not to worry there are a lot of men out there that thinks she is pretty. Take care Heather

Well tell her to move the heck on their is more fishes in the sea. Tell her it was only one guy and he wasn't worth 2 cents. Let her know that he only wanted sex. Tell her she is very pretty and has a great body and that she will find another guy that she will like and he will like her.

I know your her friend and this may sound cheesy but it really is the best thing to do if reaching out to her isn't working then you should really talk to an authority like her parents. she may get mad but it sounds like a really dyer situation. just think if she hurts herself and you knew the whole time and didn't tell anybody. you'd feel horrible.

Try to find some things to distract her. Take her places she can possibly meet a new guy. Her pain will ease with time.

telling her she is stupid does not help im afraid --- she needs to build her confidence up and love herself (if she cant love herself who else will??) ---- other people need to know so they can show her she is a beautiful person and deserves much more than this guy could offer ---- best wishes to her and you

Urge her to talk to her doc, a school counselor, or a preacher. Assure her that her stuff will remain confidential and that no one will judge her.
