Probably because your cat isn't insecure enough to look for validation from strangers on the Internet!

Cats always act like they are superior to their fellow felines but that's mostly attitude. Cats are definitely much wiser than us without question because I can't figure out how they got us to give them their favorite food(s) when they want it, provide a comfy, warm, clean, safe place to sleep, seek and offer toys we're hoping they'll like, get them medical attention when needed, worry about whether we are doing enough to make their lives good and happy, etc., and they don't even have to do chores to earn any of it. They get to sleep when they want, play when the mood strikes them no matter if the rest of the family is sleeping, someone else cleans up after them, and no matter how old they get, they don't have to move out and pay for their own place, don't have to get a job.. Man, if that's not outsmarting the human race, I don't know what is.

Maybe becuase he is (wiser)? Did you name him "Sophocles" or "Aristotle" or "Solomon" or "Ahithophel"? hee hee hee...

seriously, I myself have learnt many things just watching my cat... wise things... so I am not "making fun" at your kitty at all... For example, I have learnt how to "live in the moment" and feel true joy in it. I have learnt that patting and massaging myself and kneading something soft is good for the soul... etc etc...
