I want to get a perm, I do not want my hair to turn into an afro though.. what kind of perm should I get?

don't do it! first of all, perms are soo 1980! Once you perm your hair will turn frizzy I would invest in a couple of different size curling irons and curl your hair when you want. Good luck

Perms generally get your hair straight.
But be careful on the kind of perm you get, and also how you take care of it. 'Cause if you don't take care of your hair with the perm, your hair will start to fall out, and may stop growing as much.

If you want to get a perm, tell the stylist that you want peach colored rods...that will give you very loose curls and waves, not tight curls.
