and im trying to figure out whats the best way to go about it...as ive known her for 6 months...i like her more than any other girl ive ever liked...she knows i like her...but i still dont know how she feels..cos until early january..she had a boyfriend...and it hurt her when they split..ive been there for her but i wanna be so much more to her..we get on so well.i love making her laugh and smile and we have similar interests..im making her a slow jams cd and a valentines card..but i wanna ask her to be my girl..but im not sure how to approach it...wether to write a note in the card to explain how i feel with words..or to just say it to her..any help will be very appreciated....

well..i know shes into rnb music..thats what the cds for..thing is shes working valentines evening (we work in the same place but im not working that evening) and i was gonna leave the rnb cd and the card in the locker we share to surprise her...and then was thinking of going to see her at the end of her shift..

Find something she likes, ie: poetry, music, videos, art etc. Then use it to send your message. (write a love poem or lyrics etc) Even if your a rotten poet or musician or whatever, its just that much cuter. Just keep it clean, sweet, and sincere and you cant go wrong. Good luck!

I sadly dnt live in Boston but how about u take her somewhere special to eat u kno romantic and stuff and buy her one of those necklaces the open up u know? u can put like a picture of someone she loves or something on on side and one on the other like say u on one side and her doggy on the other u kno something small but really cute. Then flowers ... i guess ur right cos they do die but in the moment they mean so much, its amazing when a guy gives u a huge bouquet of flowers :) (if u do dat make sure its the type she likes haha) nd maybe if u want or maybe instead of the flowers a heart box of chocolates that u can give her u kno... Maybe giver her a massage at the end of the day and give her the chocolates so she can eat them and b pampered :)) u can never go wrong with these things :DDD unless she is like a flower chocolate restaurant valentines hater then maybe stay away lol :DD Hope this helped a bit haha :)) oh and congratz on 1 yr (in a month) :DD

it's best that you give her the card in person and ask her out whilst you do this. if you hid the card first, she would anticipate what you were going to say and that would be very awkward if she was going to turn you down. remember to accept everything that isnt a definite 'yes' as a 'no'. who knows, after finishing with a relationship fairly recently she might just want to stay single for a while (that doesnt mean you're on some sort of waiting list lol). Just go for it

I'd hand the card to her personally at a time when she's not with all her mates, and simply say, it's a Valentine card and I wondered if I can take you out to celebrate.

Ask her to her face. Be brave, if she is evasive she means no but doesnt want to hurt your feelings. Guys get this wrong, unless its made very clear to them its a no, they keep hopes up! If she feels yes she'll say yes. If not, move on and enjoy yourself xx
