You would have to rewire them because our electrical system is completely different than what Europe uses. If you don't, you'll either fry the lamp or you'll start the house on fire.

You can, provided that the bulbholder is a screw-in, rather than a bayonet, type. Just replace the bulb(s) in the lamp with US ones, so they match the the US domestic supply (110 V ac). UK and European domestic supply is 230 V ac, so you would be lucky to get even a dim glow out of one of our bulbs, if you tried it over there. .

No. US ones are screw in, and work on a different voltage.
You could buy some screw in ones to take but the lower voltage will make them a bit dimmer so you would have to use a bigger wattage for thesame amount of light. Not worth the trouble, really.

Yes, just buy an adapter at boots or in the airport.

You would need an adaptor for the plug.
